Terms of Service

Portofolio provides hosted portfolio websites for professionals. Each account can create a site served on a free subdomain and, on the Pro plan, on a custom domain the customer owns. We operate the platform; the content published on each site belongs to, and is the responsibility of, the account that publishes it.

Sign-in is by email link — keeping access to your email account secure is your responsibility. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into this agreement. Team members you invite act on your site under your responsibility.

You may not use Portofolio to publish content that is unlawful in Bangladesh or in your jurisdiction, that infringes others' rights, that impersonates another person or organization, or to send spam through contact and appointment forms. We may suspend sites that violate these rules; where practical we'll contact you first.

The Free plan is free for as long as we operate the service. The Pro plan is billed by manual payment: you send the amount shown on your Billing page via bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer and submit the transaction ID; access is activated after we verify the payment, normally within one business day. Paid time is added to any time remaining on your plan.

Pro does not renew automatically — we email reminders before expiry, and if you don't renew, your account simply returns to the Free plan. Your site and content are never deleted for non-payment.

If a payment was made in error (wrong amount, duplicate transaction, or a change of mind within 7 days of your first Pro purchase), contact us and we'll refund it to the account it came from. Renewal payments and partially used periods beyond those 7 days are not refundable. Refunds for rejected payment submissions don't arise — nothing is charged until we verify and approve a payment.

You must own or control any domain you connect. DNS and registrar fees are between you and your registrar. If your Pro plan lapses, connected domains keep serving but new domains can't be added until you renew.

You retain all rights to the content you publish and grant us only the license needed to host and serve it. We retain all rights to the platform, templates and software. You're responsible for having the rights to any images and text you upload, including alt text and testimonials attributed to real people.

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost business from downtime or from leads and appointment requests that fail to deliver.

You can delete your site at any time from Settings — deletion is permanent. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections 5, 7 and 8 survive termination.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or on the dashboard at least 14 days in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes fall to the courts of Dhaka.
